When will I receive notification if funding application is successful?

When the funding has been approved, successful and unsuccessful non-DHB applicants are sent a letter informing them of the decision, and DHB applicants are notified by e-mail. 

This notification should be sent by the middle of December. A list of the successful applicants is then sent to the appropriate universities so that there is a way to double-check enrolment does take place.

Primary health care (GP’s/NPs/CNS)
Secondary specialist services
Diabetes services from outside the Waikato region
Waikato DHB Hospital Wards
Referrals are for people over the age of 15. All referrals for paediatric diabetes (people under the age of 15) go via the Waikato Hospital Referral Coordination Centre.
