Hamilton

There is very limited parking at 26 Clarence Street Hamilton, mostly reserved for mobility parks.
There are some parks at Anytime Fitness which is accessed from Clarence Street – please only park in the parks with signs for Waikato Regional Diabetes Service
On-street parking is available in the Hamilton CBD and is free for the first 2 hours and $6 an hour thereafter.
Thames, Te Kuiti and Tokoroa Hospitals

Carpark Building

Park in the Hague Road Carpark Building, take the lift to Level B3, follow the signs.

Short-term parking
Follow Hague Road until you reach the roundabout, turn left and follow signs to Transit Lounge. There is short-term parking directly outside.

How hard is it to get parking at the hospital?

Car parking spaces at Waikato DHB are at a premium – but doctors are given priority for the available spaces. You can be issued with a swipe card, and each time this is used for campus parking, a deduction will be made from your salary.

For those working long days, for safety and security reasons, you are able to park in the car park building off Hague Road. This will be explained in detail upon appointment.
